Lucknow, Aug 18 (PTI): The Vishwa Hindu Parishad today said it has proposed to Mulayam Singh Yadav to work as a bridge between Hindus and Muslims to pave way for Ram Temple construction, and claimed the SP leader has responded positively

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad today said it has proposed to Mulayam Singh Yadav to work as a bridge between Hindus and Muslims to pave way for Ram Temple construction, and claimed the SP leader has responded positively.

"We reminded Mulayam Singh of his announcement that the day court will say that Babri mosque was constructed after demolishing some structure, he will support construction of the temple," VHP leader Ashok Singhal and Swami Chinmayanand said after meeting Mulayam and his son Akhilesh.

They met Mulayam and Akhilesh in connection with the proposed Chaurasi Kosi Parikrama of seers on August 25.

"We told him that among all leaders, his acceptability among Muslims is maximum and he should act as a bridge and initiate the process, which he accepted," they said, adding that both the leaders were very positive during the meeting.

"During the meeting, the SP supremo agreed that it took a long time for the court's decision to come and in wake of the High Court judgement there should be a dialogue," they said.

Chinmayanand said a group of seers had met President Pranab Mukherjee in May this year, and "told him about an affidavit submitted in Supreme Court in 1994 by the then Solicitor General, in which it was said that if the mosque was constructed after demolishing any structure, then government will stand in favour of construction of the temple." They demanded that the Centre should pave way for construction of the temple through a legislation, and thretened of an agitation if a bill was not tabled in Parliament by September 18.

The “miracle” of “Rama’s Appearance” was the brain-child of the three friends:
Mahraja Pateshwari Prasad Singh (ruler of the princely state of Balrampur),
Mahant Divijay Nath (head of the Gorakshapeeth in Gorakpur & President of Hindu Mahasabha) and
KKK Nair (Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate of Faizabad).
The trios were united together by their Hindu communal sentiments to hatch a conspiracy that would irreversibly mould the history of modern India on the religio-political front. Each one of them served as an important cog wheel in the idea of “Hindutva Statehood” cashing on the sentiments of the Hindu majority of the newly born State of India. The trio was the perfect pack of finance, religion and administration against which no one would have won.
Mahant Digvijay Nath the main mastermind behind the whole conspiracy of Rama’s “appearance” in the Masjid was the powerful president of the Hindu Mahasabha unit in the United Provinces - who became the party’s national general secretary just two days after the Babri Masjid incident. He was one of the prime accused in the Gandhi murder case, could achieve this (planting of the idol) just months after being acquitted on the grounds of insufficient evidence is in itself indicative of the state government’s attitude towards the activities of a communal organization like the Hindu Mahasabha and its leaders. He deputed a poor Bihari foot-soldier, Abhiram Das, to place the idol in the mosque. Abhiram Das was a foul-mouthed, ill-tempered and an almost completely illiterate sadhu and on the night of 22-23 December 1949 he along with two of his cousins planting the idol of Lord Rama in the main dome of Babri Masjid. He then erased many Islamic carvings from the inner and outer walls of the mosque with the help of a khurpi and scribbled Sita and Rama in saffron and yellow colours on them. These Hindutva Parivar conspiracies have brought lots of miseries and deaths to the citizens of united India.

The one thing our Founding Fathers could not foresee they were farmers, professional men, businessmen giving of their time and effort to an idea that became a country was a nation governed by professional politicians who had an interest in getting re-elected. They probably envisioned a fellow serving a couple of hitches and then eagerly looking forward to getting back to the farm. But Now the politicians want only power, money by hook or cook. They are not bothered the feeling of people. Mulayam is trying to take PM seat and Akilesh CM in UP.
