Klose could return to Germany

Rome, Aug 21 (IANS): Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has revealed that he could return to Germany at the end of this season.

The German international footballer joined Lazio from Bayern Munich in 2011. With his contract expiring in 2014, he could choose not to renew it, reports Xinhua.

"Returning to Germany could be a great opportunity for me," he said. "I can imagine finishing my career there."

The 35-year-old is the only player to have scored at least five goals in consecutive World Cups, as well as the only player to have scored at least four in three different tournaments, but he has now fallen way down the German pecking order.
