Mumbai: 159 birth anniversary of Narayan Guru observed at Brahma Shree Narayan Guru temple

Mumbai, Aug 22: The 159 birth anniversary of Narayan Guru was celebrated along with various religious programmes by the Billawa association here at Brahma Shree Narayan Guru temple, Santacruz (East) on Wednesday August 21.

Under the initiative of the association president LV Amin and association honorary president Jaya C Suvarana, the programmes were organized for two days.

Maharashtra state former home minister, present MLA Krupashankar Singh, Malathi Krupashankar Leelavathi, J Suvarna, Sudha L Amin and various other dignitaries were present on this occasion.

Prabhakar Sasihithlu and group chanted hymns “Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha Shivaha’ for more than 24 hours whereas Dhanjaya Shanthi performed various religious rituals and blessed this event.

On this occasion association vice presidents Nithyanda D Kotian, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Mahesh Poojary, women division president Shankunthala K Kotian, religious committee assistant working president Mohandas Poojary, secretary Ravindra A Amin and other representatives from the association were present for the programme.
