China's FDI inflow rises


Beijing, Aug 23 (IANS): Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China surged 24.13 percent year-on-year in July, data from the Chinese ministry of commerce showed Friday.

China attracted $9.41 billion in FDI last month, and in the first seven months of this year, the volume amounted to $71.39 billion, up 7.09 percent from the same period last year, Xinhua reported.
