New Delhi, Aug 24 (IANS): Delhi had a sunny Saturday morning, with the minimum temperature settling at 26.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of year. The Met office has forecast light rain and thundershowers in some parts.
"There are chances of light rains in some parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 81 percent.
Friday's minimum temperature was 23.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of year, and maximum temperature settled at a notch above average at 35 degrees Celsius.
