Mangalore: Panjimogeru double murder - Family demands CBI probe

Mangalore, Sep 3: The family members of deceased Raziya and her daughter, who were murdered in their house at Panjimogeru two years ago, have urged for a CBI enquiry.

Addressing the press meet held at the city press club, Mayyadi, the brother-in-law of the deceased, said that it has been more than two years since the murder and the police have still not been able to arrest the murderer. He added that even the state CID has not been able to trace the culprits.

“We request the state government. to transfer this case to the CBI court and we are ready to co-operate in every way possible,” he said.

The husband of Raziya, Hameed P M said, “We want the narco-analysis test of Raziya's family and my family so that the truth will be out and the confusion regarding the matter will be cleared.”

Brothers of Hameed, Abdul Razaaq, and Abdul Sattar were also present.
