GoM will look into Airport Metro issue: Kamal Nath

New Delhi, Sep 3 (IANS): Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath Tuesday said the advice and guidance of an empowered group of ministers (EGoM) will be sought to sort out issues related to the Airport Metro Express Line (AMEL).

"In next two or three weeks, we will meet the group of ministers and we will get advice and guidance on the Delhi airport metro line," Kamal Nath told reporters on the sidelines of a conference here.

The operations of the AMEL project were taken over by the Delhi Metro since July 1 after Reliance Infra expressed its inability to continue operations.

The issue between Delhi Metro and Reliance Infra-led Delhi Airport Metro Express on settlement of the estimated Rs.2,000 crore debt on the AMEL remains unresolved.
