Kundapur: Stolen timber, vehicle seized, two arrested

Kundapur, Sept 5: The police at the Kundapur crime branch have arrested two individuals for allegedly stealing timber in bulk and they have also seized the vehicle used during the transport of the wood.

It is learnt that this incident took place on Friday night, wherein 62 timber wood logs,  with dimensions 5 foot 3 inches and 5.5 cm were stored at the residence of Gopal Achary.

                

Police have arrested the culprits Vasanth (22) and Gururaj (21) who are residents of Satwadi and Ullooru. Police made the arrest while they were transporting the stolen woods.

The stolen timber was worth approximately Rs 3,05,000.
