China resumes treasury futures trading


Beijing, Sep 6 (IANS): China Friday re-launched trade of its treasury bond futures, 18 years after banning it following a series of irregularities.

The trading, which started on the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange, offered three 5-year treasury bond contracts for December 2013, March 2014 and June 2014, reports Xinhua.
