Hot, sunny Saturday in Delhi


New Delhi, Sep 7 (IANS): It was a hot, sunny morning in the capital Saturday. The minimum temperature settled at 25.3 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year. The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"The skies will remain clear and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 61 percent.

Friday's minimum and maximum temperature were 25.3 and 35.2 degrees Celsius respectively, average for this time of year.

Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 781.4 mm of rainfall.
