Belgian watch brand enters India


Mumbai, Sep 10 (IANS): Belgian watch brand Ice-Watch has announced its launch in the Indian market. It will be available in cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Kochi.

The watches, available in colours like deep cherry red and lime green, will also be available through all key retail online portals.

The brand will bring to India its latest collections including Ice-Forever, Ice-Love, Ice-Chocolate, Ice-Chrono Party, Ice-Glow and Ice-Chrono Electrik. The products start at Rs.5,500.

"Ice-Watch is thrilled to enter India with the launch of distribution outlets across the country. Ice-Watch timepieces continue to change the way the world looks at time and we are confident that Indian consumers are ready to make the brand an essential part of their lives and become a part of the global Ice-Watch phenomenon," Didier Kinsoen, director, Belgium, Ice-Watch, said in a statement.

Brainchild of Belgian entrepreneur Jean-Pierre Lutgen, Ice-Watch, which reflects European glamour, was created as a fashion accessory. In six years since its launch, it has sold almost ten million timepieces across the world.

In India, Ice-Watch is distributed by Ganga Watches Pvt. Ltd.
