Mangalore, Feb 22: Four persons who used to loot strangers by luring them with access to sensual pleasures have been arrested by District Crime Investigation Bureau (DCIB) on Monday February 21.

The arrested have been identified as Dinesh alias Satish alias Satya (19) of Puttur, Sharif alias Mustaf (23) of Perne, Shamsheer (18) of Pennisar in Kasargod and Prasad (24) of Ullalbail.

They used to lure persons of providing girls and other sexual pleasures and then take them to the lonely places.  After reaching the place they used to loot them of their valuables.

Some days ago they had robbed off a persons in a similar manner in the city after taking them to a lonely place.  After reaching the place they robbed his gold ornaments, mobile phone and cash.  He in turn lodged a complaint with the police.

The police have seized three cell phones, a knife and ornaments from the arrested.  The case has been handed over Pandeshwar police.
