Toyota launches exclusive edition of Etios range of vehicle


New Delhi, Sep 16 (IANS): Japanese automobile major Toyota Monday launched new variants of its entry level Etios and Etios Liva's limited edition, in the price range from Rs.4.95 lakh to Rs.7.13 lakh.

"Etios and Etios Liva have been appreciated for their quality, performance, space and low cost of ownership, a package that every Indian customer looks for," said Sandeep Singh, deputy managing director and chief operating officer, marketing and commercial, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM).

"New vehicles will offer an exclusive ownership experience and newness to the product, in the upcoming festive season.”

According to the company, the petrol powered entry-level sedan starts from Rs.6.05 lakh and the diesel variant is priced at Rs.7.13 lakh.

The petrol powered hatchback entry-level offering starts from Rs.4.95 lakh and the diesel variant is priced at Rs.6.05 lakh.

The launch of the exclusive models coincides with one Lakh sales of Etios and the second anniversary of Etios Liva.

"Only 2,000 exclusive units of the limited edition vehicle will be sold till the month of November 2013," the company said.

Both the Toyota vehicles are the first to be exclusively designed for the Indian customers.
