Delhi has warm, sunny Wednesday, Thursday to be similar


New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS): Warm, sunny weather continued in the national capital Wednesday, and the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 36 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is predicted for Thursday as well, the Met Office said.

"The day (Thursday) would be sunny and warm, but the evening would be pleasant," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 35 and 23 degrees Celsius, the official said.

Wednesday morning was pleasant, as the minimum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 23.5 degrees Celsius.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 87 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature was 35.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum was two notches below average at 22.5 degrees Celsius.
