The locals immediately informed MESCOM officials and stopped power supply in order to avert further tragedy.

Mescom carelessness

The electricity wire was put several years ago. In spite of requesting the concerned officials to change the wires, electricity pole, it was not done. Adding to this, there is also a shortage of employees. Now after the incident, what is the use if Mescom gives compensation? Measures should have been taken well in advance, complained locals.
