Mangalore, Feb 27: In a road mishap that was reported on Sunday, two persons were killed on the spot after the bike they were riding skid while overtaking a gas tanker on Shiradi Ghat in the district.

The deceased have been identified as Ganesh (40) and Lakshmish (24), both residents of Puttur.

The duo was coming to Puttur from Sakleshpur when the mishap occurred.
