Udupi, Sep 21: The first year’s Uroos programme of Hazrat Sayyed Ali Miradatar of Uchila was held on Thursday, September 19 here.
 
The main darga of Sayyed Ali Miradatar is in a place called Unja in Gujarat.  Darga of Datar is spread all over the world and devotees obtain what they desire and freedom from their hardships here. The Uroos was held for the first time in Uchila and thousands of devotees had come here to pray.
 
MP Jayaprakash Hegde, who was present on the occasion, said the darga in peaceful Uchila has made him glad.  He promised to respond to their needs in the future too.  May the area progress as a secular region, he said.

MP Hegde and Uchila Bada grama panchayat president Vasanth Shetty were  felicitated by the darga committee on the occasion.
 
A mass prayer was held.
 
Darga committee members, Sayyed Ali Datar’s grandson Sayyed Tahir Ali Yacub, Sayyed Moinuddin, Sayyed Suleiman, Sayyed Muzaffar Ali and Abdul Hameed were present.
