Russia questions Pyongyang over ship inspection

Moscow, Sep 22 (IANS): Russia has demanded from North Korea to explain a latest ship inspection incident taking place in the Sea of Japan.

A North Korea warship Friday shot at a Russian fishing vessel without warning in the Sea of Japan before boarding the vessel, reported Xinhua citing the Russian foreign ministry Saturday.

North Korean coast guards onboard the warship allowed the vessel, Altai, to continue its voyage after questioning the captain, said the ministry.
