Turkish PM condemns attack on police buildings


Ankara, Sep 22 (IANS): Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Saturday condemned a rocket attack on two police buildings in the capital city.

Assailants launched at least two rockets against the police buildings in Dikmen district of Ankara Friday night, causing damage to property. However, there was no casualties but one assailant was killed and another badly hurt in a exchange of fire.

"Those who resorted to such methods will definitely pay the price," reported Xinhua citing Erdogan.

He said that anyone who dared to use such means to attack Turkey would definitely get their comeuppance.
