No casualties in fire on 'Comedy Nights...' sets


Mumbai, Sep 25 (IANS): Fire broke out on the sets of popular TV show "Comedy Nights With Kapil" at Film City here Wednesday morning, but there were no casualties, said an official.

The accident was reported around 6:30 a.m.

"It is unfortunate that such an incident has occurred on the sets of 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'. There have been no casualties and we are currently in the process of assessing the extent of the damage," the official from Colors channel said in a statement.

"Meanwhile, we are focusing all our efforts to resume shooting for the show so that we have no disruption and we don't disappoint our loyal viewers," the official added.

"Comedy Nights With Kapil" airs on Colors.
