Udupi: Two separate accidents in city

Udupi, Sep 25: A bus driver lost control over his vehicle and fell into 20 feet deep ditch after its steering wheel accidently got locked.

The accident occurred near Herror Bridge on Wednesday September 25, at around 4.30 am.

There was a river 100 mts ahead of the accident spot. The bus was plying from Belgaum to Dharmastala.

In yet another incident, a speeding lorry which was trying to overtake a bus near Uppoor bus stand, lost control and toppled into a divider.

The lorry was transporting fish from Malpe to Bhatkal.

No injuries were reported in both the cases.
