New York, Sep 26 (IANS): Actor Richard Gere and wife Carey Lowell have reportedly separated ways, reports dailystar.co.uk.

According to sources, Gere, 64, is not a very social person but Lowell likes spending time outside in a good social circle. This has created a distance between them.

They have been married for 11 years and have a 13-year-old son Homer.

Gere was previously married to supermodel Cindy Crawford.
