Kundapur, Mar 3: Noted music director and singer Ilayaraja will offer a diamond crown to goddess Mookambika of Kollur temple on Monday March 6. The sources said that the yet to be offered crown values Rs 70 lac.
Ilayaraja has been an ardent devotee of Kollur Mookambika for 22 years now. He visits the holy shrine every year. Recently he along with his daughter Bhavatarini had offered diamond hands to goddess Mookambika sometime ago. Even Bhavatarini's wedding ceremony was held at Kollur Mookambika temple last year.
