Kasargod: Train accident kills 45-year-old man

Kasargod, Sep 26: A person died after a train hit him at Kasargod railway station.

The decease is identified as 45-year-old Talangare resident, Abdul Sirajuddin, son of T A Aboobacker and Nafisa, residents of Nusrat road.

The incident occurred on Thursday September 26 when Sirajuddin was crossing the railway track. The people who saw him on railway lines in a pool of blood informed the railway police. Though police arrived, he could not be saved.

He had worked in the Gulf and was now working as an auto driver, staying in his wife’s house in Korakudigi.

He had left from home with some documents, saying that he was going somewhere outside. He was trying to go to the Gulf. A postmortem was conducted in Kasargod general hospital.
