'Yuva Gaaj’, Udupi diocese Youth Commission magazine released

Udupi, Sep 30: ‘Yuva Gaaj’, diocese of Udupi Youth Commission magazine was released by Fr Denis D’Sa, PRO of diocese of Udupi at Thottam on Sunday September 29. The magazine was released during youth awareness seminar organized by St Ann’s Church, ICYM Kallianpur Varado and Thottam unit.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Denis D’Sa said that in the era of network and communication the role of media very large. Telecommunication towers are higher than tower of Churches, Mosques or Temples. The magazine should aim to enrich the youth with better vision and help them to develop a right perspective of life, he said.

Meanwhile, diocese of Udupi logo of YCS/YSM was also launched by Fr Fredrick D’Souza, spiritual director of Kallianpur Deanery and parish priest of Thottam Church.

Steven Mendis spoke during the occasion. He asked youth of Udupi diocese to support his forthcoming movie.

Fr Fredrick D’Souza presided over the programme. Fr Denis D’Sa, Fr Edwin D’Souza, head of Youth Commission, diocese of Udupi, Steven Mendis of Devine World Mangalore, Leslie Aroza, convener of Youth Commission Diocese of Udupi, Lester Pais, president of ICYM Kallianpur Deanery and Waylon Machado Milagres, secretary ICYM Udupi Diocese were present on the dais.

Leslie Aroza and Rohan Fernandes of Thottam compered the program. Leslie Aroza welcomed the gathering and Lester Pais proposed vote of thanks.

ICYM and YCS/YCM members of Kallianpur deanery, deanery ICYM heads of diocese, divisional representatives and others participated. Under the dynamic and tireless leadership of Fr Edwin D’Souza , the youth commission of Udupi Diocese is rightly taking a better shape with plenty of programmes, seminars and so on.
