Sunny day in Delhi, rain expected Friday


New Delhi, Oct 3 (IANS): The city experienced a warm Thursday as the skies remained sunny and the maximum temperature settled at 33.7 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the year. Light rains are expected Friday, the Met office said.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Friday) and some parts of the city may get light rains," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 33 and 22 degrees Celsius, added the official.

Thursday's minimum temperature was recorded a notch above average at 23.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum humidity was recorded at 82 percent.

Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 34.9 degrees and the minimum was 24.3 degrees Celsius - both a notch above average for this time of the year.
