Kundapur, Oct 5: A 45-year-old pedestrian died after a bus knocked her down opposite green land factory, Karki gram, here, on Friday October 4 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Laxmi, wife of Babu, resident of Gudde Angandi.
She was walking towards her mother’s house when the accident occurred. It is learnt that a private bus plying from Kollur hit Laxmi. She died on the spot.
Laxmi was working for Supreme factory. She is survived by her husband and four sons.
The driver and the conductor fled away from spot. The body has been kept in government hospital.
A case has been registered at Kundapur traffic station.
