Mangalore, Mar 9: In connection with the fake currency seizure case recently reported in Vittal, one Abdul Ajeej, a resident of Badanaje in Bantwal Taluk, was arrested on Tuesday March 7 here.
Ajeej had 20 counterfeit notes of Rs 500 denomination.
The Vittal police on a tip off, had in the last week arrested one Abdul Lateef, on charges of possessing 200 counterfeit notes of Rs 500 denomination.
