IAF glider makes emergency landing


New Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS): A microlite two-seater glider of the Indian Air force (IAF) made an emergency landing in a ground here Sunday, police said. There were no casualties.

According to a police officer, the incident took place around 10.30 a.m. in east Delhi's Shastri Park area.

The glider landed in a Delhi Development Authority ground near Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, police said.

"The glider developed a minor technical fault and had to make an emergency landing," said the officer.

Neither the pilot and co-pilot nor anyone on the ground was injured, said the officer.
