Moodbidri, Mar 10: The bundh called in the district by Rashtriya Hindu Sene has badly hit the taluk and specially the town as Friday is the weekly market day for the people from in and around the town.

There are no buses plying to the city from any part of the district.  People those who had to come to the town for the weekly market, have no buses to come to the town.

The bus stand without any buses virtually looks like a playground.  Some of the private buses have been parked beside the roads.  People those who managed to reach the town in the morning, are left high and dry as there are no buses to go back to their homes.

The worst hit has been the weekly market.  All the agricultural products come to the town on Friday for wholesale and retail shopkeepers.  But on Friday March 10, the Raita Sangha market was found empty without any products.

The fish market too is empty as against the usual vies of fish stalls full with fish and customers pegging in from all corners.
