Udupi, Mar 9: Carelessness on the part of the parents and bravery by the youth resulted in the fall and rescue of a tiny tot on Thursday March 9 at Kodakur near here.
 
One-and-a-half-year-old Muskan who was engaged in play near a well at Kodankur near here slipped and fell into the well. The episode took place at around 8 am. The child however was rescued by three youth who were in the vicinity.

The youth who saw the child fall into the well did not hesitate to jump into the well to save the child. The trio finally succeeded in saving the life of this innocent child who had a fall of misfortune.

To little Muskan, the local youth Ambarish, Mahesh and Sundar became saviours risking their own lives.

Muskan, the daughter of Jamalludin and Jaleena has been admitted to the Government Children's Hospital, Udupi. The child however is said to be recovering.
