Puttur, Mar 11: Two more persons injured in a Tata Sumo - tanker collision at Addahole near Shirady of Nelyadi here have succumbed to the injuries in a private hospital at Mangalore on Friday March 10.

The deceased have been identified as Mahantesh (42) and Chennayya (46), resident of Vijaynagar in Hubli.  The accident had taken place a week ago after a tanker had collided with a Tata Sumo carrying 12 pilgrims to Dharmasthala.  They all were the residents of Hubli and had come on a South - Karnataka tour.

Two persons including the Tata Sumo driver had died on the spot while 10 others were admitted to a private hospital at Mangalore with serious injuries.  Now with the death of Mahantesh and Chennayya the total number of the deceased has risen up to four.  

The remaining injured are still recuperating the hospital at Mangalore.
