Bantwal, Oct 8: The birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji was recently celebrated at Shamboor Government High School, Shamboor, here.
Students cleaned the area as a part of the celebrations. Headmaster Nonayya Naik presided over the celebrations. Assistant headmaster Sadashiva Nayak explained the teachings of Gandhiji and Shastriji that can be imbibed by us in our lives.
Teachers Hariprasad and Varamahalaxmi explained the patriotic sacrifices and gifts of the late leaders.
School cultural minister Harshita conducted the programme. Poojashree welcomed and Deekshan thanked.
