New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): Mobile technology retailer Spice Mobility Wednesday launched outlets called 'AndroidLand' through which it will sell a comprehensive selection of smartphones and tablets based on the Android operating system.
Co-founder and Group chief executive officer of Spice Global Dilip Modi said “AndroidLand” are the first-of-its-kind stores in India that will showcase a comprehensive range of Android devices, services and accessories.
“We are excited to launch the first 'AndroidLand' store in India. We are confident customers will love the fun and engaging store concept that we developed in collaboration with Google,” Modi said.
The company Wednesday launched two stores -- one at The Great India Place Mall, Noida and the other in Bangalore.
"We have seen rapid growth in the sales of Android OS-based devices in the last two years, and we are looking to further accelerate that momentum with the launch of 'AndroidLand' in India," Modi said.
