Juvalia & You India promotes self-reliance among women

New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): With an aim to promote self-reliance among women, fashion jewellery brand Juvalia & You has partnered with NGO Lakshyam to train underprivileged girls in jewellery design and selling techniques.

Juvalia & You, a social selling company that brings fashion jewellery from around the globe to the Indian market, is trying to help women and young girls by training them to turn easily available material into saleable jewellery products.

As part of this initiative, 15 complimentary starter kits have been distributed among girls during a jewellery making workshop held at Lakshyam School in Vasant Kunj area here. They were also taught on how to approach the customers and sell the products they craft.

"We have always focused on making sure that everyone associated with us has the opportunity to buy the latest international designs online while empowering them to be financially independent... We are glad to be able to take this opportunity forward and extend it to encompass the less privileged women and girls of our society," Chaitanya Aggarwal, founder & CEO, Juvalia & You India, said in a statement.
