CRPF seizes 60 kg explosives in West Bengal


Kolkata, Oct 10 (IANS): The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recovered 60 kg explosives here in a joint operation with the state police, a CRPF official said Thursday.

The CRPF troopers Wednesday recovered four Challenger mines, each containing 13 kg explosives, and 8 kg high explosives from Koyma forest in West Bengal.

"On specific inputs, we have seized the Challenger mines and recovered a total of 60 kg explosives," said the CRPF official.
