Five killed in Pakistan market bombing


Islamabad, Oct 10 (IANS): At least five people were killed and 20 others wounded Thursday when a bomb exploded in a crowded market in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan's Balochistan province, a leading daily reported.

The bomb exploded near the city centre market in the provincial capital and damaged several shops and vehicles, the Dawn quoted Mohammed Mohsin, a police official, as saying.

No militant group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
