Mangalore, Mar 13: A.C. Pereira, advocate and former KPSC member passed away on Monday 4.00 pm at A J Hospital.
He was 69.
During the Veerappa Moily Government in Karnataka he was appointed as a Member of Karnataka Public Service Commission by the Governor of Karnataka and had around twenty years of public service both in law practise and social community work
He joined as a Member of Karnataka Public Service Commission on 1-1-1994 and retired on 31-12-1999.
Alias Pereira hailed from Kantharvara Village of Karkala Taluk and was residing at the Skyline Enclave (near Jyothi Circle) in Milagres Parish of Mangalore. His wife Monica is the founder Headmistress of the Jaycees School in Karkala and is actively involved in match making through her firm ’Wedlocker’ is widely known in social circles.
He is survived by wife Monica and children Anita (+Noel), Sunita (+Dr Prakash), Dimple (+Nagaraj) and Deepak

Funeral cortege leaves residence in Skyline Enclave, Balmatta for Milagres Church, Mangalore at 3-30 pm on Wednesday, March 15.
