Pakistan minister killed in blast


Islamabad, Oct 16 (IANS): A bomb blast during Eid-ul-Adha festivities left at least eight dead in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, BBC reports.

Israrullah Gundarpur, law minister of the province, a stronghold of Taliban militants, was killed while greeting people in Kullachi village in the province, near his residence, when the bomb burst, according to the report.
