Afghan spy agency arrests three terror suspects


Kabul, Oct 20 (IANS): Afghanistan's intelligence agency has detained three suspected terrorists from southern Paktika province, a statement of the National Directorate for Security (NDS) said Sunday.

"The trio have admitted to their relations with Taliban network and involvement in terrorist activities including planting roadside bombs and harassing people across Paktika province," Xinhua reported citing the statement.

NDS personnel have also seized arms and ammunition, including three assault rifles and nine hand grenades, from the possession of the three arrested persons.
