Ramdev not a significant figure: Digvijaya Singh

New Delhi, Oct 22 (IANS): Congress party leader Digvijaya Singh Tuesday dismissed yoga guru Ramdev's accusation that the party was conspiring against him. The Congress member said Ramdev did not hold such a significant stature.

"Baba Ramdev does not have such a stature that anyone will hatch a conspiracy against him," said Digvijaya Singh.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev had accused the Congress party of conspiring to level false charges against him. He reacted after his brother Rambharat was booked for kidnapping after he held an employee inside Patanjali Ashram.

"If Baba Ramdev's family members kidnap somebody, how can it be a conspiracy of Congress? He should give the answer," the Congress leader said.

    I am not condemning or glorifying Congress or BJP. Both have bad and good people.

    As far as this Ramdev episode is concerned, I feel the remarks by Diggy seems appropriate. The animal bone powder in Pattanjali medicines, Blkrishna's fake passport, fake M.A. degree and other activities, all were reported in the press. Balkrishna is on bail now. For that also Ramdev blamed congress. Ramdev's brother in now underground.

    I do not know why Congress or BJP are blamed when you have skeleton in your closet. As per Police enquiry, Asaram was picking the young, innocent virgin girls for his carnal desire just like a butcher picks chicken in the paultry farm. His son is now underground for almost 16 days.
    Asaram told that it is a consiracy of Madam and her suputr (son).

    Gelatin - which ismade from collagen of various Animal Flesh (including Horse, Camels, goats & pigs too) is used in formulations of many Alopathy ( English) Medicines also.
    Even in Deserts, yogurt, & Ice cream too it is used as Gelling & Gumming agent. Almost all the people all over the world consume such Animal by-products without theknowledge, even though eating such animal meat might have been a taboo in their Religion.     Ramdev, known for his inimitable belly-churning feat and overtly political yoga classes is another RSS agent who wants to influence the people to support the BJP from behind the scene.
    If he was living in any developed nation, he would have been behind bars for using human and animal ingredients in his medicines and cheating the government by evading various taxes on wealth that he made by exploiting religion and running suspicious drug business than for his yoga. He was exposed when he could not fast and tried to escape his arrest by wearing ladies salwar-kameez.
    Ramdev’s Man-Friday Balkrishna has had his own brush with the law. On September 23, a special CBI court framed charges against Balkrishna in the fake passport case. He was arrested by the CBI in July 2012 for allegedly submitting fake documents to obtain a passport. Balkrishna is currently out on bail. The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which conducted a preliminary probe against him, claimed that Balkrishna was involved in a Jharkhand-based company and allegedly violated FEMA norms. The ED claimed Balkrishna had travelled to over 25 countries on a fake passport including those which are known tax havens.
