Bos scores his fifth stage win in Tour of Hainan

Dongfang (China), Oct 26 (IANS): Dutch rider Theo Bos from Belkin-Pro Cycling braved the downhill to clock 5:13.57 to score his fifth win in stage 7 of Tour of Hainan cycling race here Saturday.

The other two riders from Belkin-Pro Cycling rounded off the top three. The second place went to Lars Boom. His teammate Moreno Hofland who also retained the green jersey for leading the sprints classification was placed third, reports Xinhua.

By leading the general individual classifications Hofland retains the yellow jersey and Mateusz Taciak from CCC Polsat Polkowice wears the polka dot jersey.

Almost 120 riders participated in the stage starting from Wuzhishan in the heart of Hainan to Dongfang in eastern Hainan.
