Vidya glad to have watched 'Bhaag...' after 'Shaadi...' shoot

Mumbai, Oct 29 (IANS): Actress Vidya Balan was in awe of her "Shaadi Ke Side Effects'" co-star Farhan Akhtar after watching his film "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" that she confesses she couldn't have shot with him again after seeing his performance.

"It was wonderful working with Farhan. I must say that of course, I knew his work. I had watched his films. But I was very happy I watched 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' after our shoot was over," the 34-year-old said here Monday at the first look launch of "Shaadi Ke Side Effects."

"I couldn't have gone back on the sets after having watched that film. I couldn't have performed with him after that film," she added.

Farhan also praised Vidya for knowing well what is required of her which in turn helped him perform better.

"Honestly, as an actor or as a director when you go on set you want to work with people who are good at what they do, who are hungry about their work, who are also willing to listen and learn along with you because everyone is learning on the job," Farhan said.

"On that level, she is a very strong performer, she has a great understanding of what she needs to do in the film. When you are working with somebody like that, you take a lot from them and that helps you to perform well because you are constantly being challenged," he added.

Directed by Saket Chaudhary, "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" is a sequel to his 2006-film "Pyaar Ke Side Effects."

It also stars Vir Das, Ram and Gautami Kapoor.
