CBI files chargesheet against DDA ex-commissioner


New Delhi, Oct 30 (IANS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Wednesday filed a chargesheet against a former Delhi Development Authority (DDA) commissioner for possessing disproportionate assets of Rs.1.46 crore.

The agency filed the chargesheet before a special CBI judge in Patiala House against former commissioner (Land Disposal) Manoj Kumar Agarwal, his wife and his father-in-law.

"Agarwal, a 1990 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre was booked on Dec 15, 2009 for possessing disproportionate assets of Rs.1.46 crore," said a CBI officer.
