New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS): State miner Coal India (CIL) Friday announced the appointment of three new directors on its board, to fill positions which had fallen vacant in August this year.
"The following directors are nominated as non-official part time on the Board of Coal India Ltd by Director, Ministry of Coal vide letter dated October 31, 2013 for a period of three years or until further orders w.e.f. October 31, 2013: Shri Alok Perti, Dr. R. N. Trivedi and Shri Kamal Raj Gupta," CIL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Alok Perti is a former coal secretary, and has also served as advisor to the Coal Ministry after his retirement.
The second member, R.N. Trivedi has earlier been on CIL's board for three years ending August 2013.
