'Arrogant' Congress evades media, Modi counters Sibal

Pune, Nov 1 (PTI): Narendra Modi today hit back at Union Minister Kapil Sibal for saying that he does not address press conferences to avoid being questioned and said it is the "arrogant" Congress that does not answer media queries.

"You go through the speeches of Congress or UPA leaders in the past two months and you will see they are not talking about what they have done.

"The Congress is so arrogant, it does not answer even the media. The Prime Minister is Manmohan Singh and the government is theirs, yet they are seeking answers from Modi.

It is your duty to reply to the public," Modi said, addressing a public meeting here.

He was obviously replying to Sibal who, at a press conference in Delhi, said Modi wants a "controlled" environment in which he makes his speeches and does not meet mediapersons to avoid questions. He also challenged the Gujarat Chief Minister to a face-to-face debate on any issue.

"I promise to the people of the nation that, when in 2014, the BJP government is formed, we will give our report to the people every year," he added.

He said that in a democracy, "there cannot be a master in Delhi, but only a servant who is answerable to public."

Modi also hit out at Congress, alleging it had targeted him for the past 12 years, and said it was only due to God's grace that he was alive.

He suggested that parameters be set for evaluating the performance of governments in the country as he emphasised that all elected dispensations should be regularly reporting to people on work done.

The BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate promised that a report card would be presented every year to the people of the country if his party were voted to power after the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

"I appeal to political pundits and economic analysts to fix parameters to assess the performance of various governments ruled by different parties in the country. If there is a comparative analysis, BJP will come out first," he said.

Attacking the "arrogant" Congress for questioning him on the work done in Gujarat instead of itself giving answers about their own government at the Centre, Modi said the ruling party does not even answer queries by the media.

NDA's Prime Ministirial Candidate "A Big Lier" has the guts to speak in front of the media having a "Open Debate" on any issue on any platform and in any language as Mr. Kapil Sibal has given him a open challenge!!!.

Be it any language, Hindi, English, or Gujarati to decide the Day/ the Subject/ the Place and the Language.

Let the "Truth" prevail and people of this country will decide.
Not just Mr. Modi is basking in his rallies giving "False" and misrepresenting the UPA I and UPA II's achievements of their 9 plus year's tenure compared to the NDA's developments and growth mantra!!!

Some go for Swami Vivekananda's principles and now all of a sudden!!! they follow Sardar Vallabhbhai Paetel....

Wait for something new!!! from Punjab now to have the assasinator's statue's of late Mrs. Indira Gandhi.

If Mr. Narendra Modi wants to copy the "USA's" Presidential Election Styles for campaigning in our country, then so be the "Open Media Debates" as Mr. Kapil Sibal has invited with for an "Offer with Challenge"

    That's Democracy!!!
.....................and not just talking "Behind the Back" as Mr. Narendra Modi is doing presently in his rallies with "Stories" to fool the audience.

    Is Kapil PM candidate?

Certainly... He is much more than that of a PM candidate!!! but won't crave for that seat at all and not at all a "Lose Mouth" and "Power Hungry" like your Modiji.

Who knows....... time may come If... Mrs. Sonia Gandhi may change her mind and decide to become the PM!!! (Certainly not the PM candidate) of this country with "Absolute Majority" and Mr. Modiji may have to go for "Tapasya" for rest of his life for all his "Sins" and "Lies" either to the Banks of the "River Ganges" or the "Mountains of the Himalayas"!!!!!!!

Modi will never become a PM. only RSS cheddi's desperately trying to promote him and putting their vigour in the campaign. Please note, this Modi and BJP's never ever kept their promises. These communal mischievous thugs were informers to British during Indian freedom fight and they are Anti Indians. You can name many freedom fighters today but it was Mahatma Gandhi's patience and vision attributed and infused millions Indians integrity and they stood with Mahatma till the end and achieved freedom. These RSS were jealous as their masters British left India and no person was left in India to lick the feets. They killed Mahatma as they were intolerant and jealous of Mahatma. So this Modi and RSS dirty cheddi's cannot digest the name "Gandhi's". Once again their agenda is to destroy India and loot the country. What they did in Karnataka? They looted Karnataka and never ever kept their promises. These shameless creatures only refer Gujrat and please note Gujrat is not India!! Gujrat was economically better place in India as it's people were industrialist's and NRE's from the decades. Most of the Gujrat's live in USA, UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia and in Gulf and they contribute to the economic development and it is not Modi. Even an ordinary man or woman can be named as Gujarat CM and I bet he or she can rule better than Modi. Let Modi his wealth. How much it was when he was not CM and now!! He had misused tax payers money & amassed huge wealth.

I pity on Indian political minds. We are responsible for price increases and inflation as we never focus on our day to day problems. We blindly follow our leaders and sway in communal emotions forgetting our day to day problems. In turn, political leaders and communal thugs play with the emotion of people and put curtain on their illegal activities. They chanted Ram Mandir killed many innocent human lives(not puppies)but never built Ram Mandir. Ghosts of all those dead will eat Modi one day and that day is not far.

Because of some dirty tricks played by Mr.Advani during 1992,BJP came to power because of Mr Vajpayee and the support given by some anti congress parties (not that they liked the bjp). But because of the massacres of 2002 under the leadership of PM candidate of the bjp,Mr.Vajpayee lost in 2004 despite INDIA SHINING campaign and in 2009 despite STRONG LOH PURUSH aginst a WEEK PRIME MINISTER. Now again we are fighting with the same man WHO CAUSED THE DOWNFALL OF BJP because this man could not follow the RAJDHARMA. And this man, after 67 years of Independence says India story would have been different, had Mr.Vallabh bhai Patel been made PM.Why it is not going to his head that HAD 1992 AND 2002 BEEN NOT HAPPENED,there would have been peace and brotherhood allover India? Modi addresses only the audience that listens and not the audience that questions! He is not a question-and-answer man. He is I-speak-you-listen personality for whom attack is the best way of defence. Someone has truly said that only those who are empty within blabber and shout from the top of their voice! But I sincerely wish that he becomes our PM so that those who promote him and those who support him understand what he's really and to what extent he can bring about change! People did that once with BJP both at the Centre and in Karnataka. But in both places they were thrown out within a single term and their defeat was massive!

But all this depends on the 'coalition of non-Congress' and non-BJP' parties who will be the Kingmakers in 2014 by all means! The Mulayam uncle, Nitish uncle, Jayakka, Mamatakka, Mayakka, Naveenanna will bargain nothing short of PM's post whichever coalition they will be and add to them the perennial speed-breakers Communists...we are in catch-22 situation. NaMo isn't Vajpayee who can bring North and South poles together...so time to sit down with crossed fingers...

You are talking of Gujarath elections? Hmm... 2002 issue is still uppermost in Gujrat - people's mind. The Gujrath experiment has been successful, in that it has forever assured 'Modi lovers' a lasting divide between the two communities. They all look upto him not as a leader but an 'evil - slayer' (read anti Muslim hero) No other leader in Gujrath has been able to succeed in this kind of experimentation. One question If tommorrow, Narendra Bhai apologises for what had happened in 2002 (Just as Manmohan Singh did in 2004 for 1984 massacre) see if Gujarath people vote for him. He'll be trashed like none before! Do not compare a communally surcharged state like Gujrath which looks upto him like 'evil destroyer' with any others...

The same Karan Thapar couldn’t answer when asked why he shouldn’t be called a Pak agent for his Pro Pak articles? Why he goes soft on Congress ministers while repeating the same questions to Namo? Wake-Up and watch The Fearless Indian in Youtube.

    Dear Mr. S.V.Pai, Karwar,

Gujarat is a state and the developments are only in the facebooks and twitters.

Rai-baraily and Amethi are not states. UP is the State. Congress is not ruling UP.

Gujarat's developments are surpassing china's developments???!!! Ask with the kids they will explain you better. Gujarat's developments are nothing compared to 11 states of India. Gujarat is the 12th state in developments.

Dear Gonsalves, Gujarat's GDP in 2012 was more than 8 whereas India's and China's GDP was 7.5,,,True, Amethi and Rai Bareily aren't states but it doesn't mean we leave it from point of discussion of development.

Jossy the development certification of the state Gujarat cannot be done by the fake report card of congress led UPA govt because congress party itself is the biggest fake. The original report card is already been given by the people of Gujarat who have elected Modi as the CM of Gujarat for the third time.

Do not call Sibal as Modi. Sibal never hides nor runs away when he is interviewed.
It is surely Modi who hides when questions are asked. Not only hides, he runs away from interviews fearing questions that he can not and unable to answer. May be that is when you found him in TOILET?
    Is that not a fact?
You can not compare Modi to Sibal.
Sibal is always "OVER" Modi even if Modi becomes PM.

Modi's speeches are full of hatred\venom towards a few top Congress people. Except that he has not made any other reference to how he is going to go about the Governance if he becomes PM.
People should make a note of this...
What do you say Mr.Dinesh Poojary, Kundapura?
