Six killed in Pakistan firing


Islamabad, Nov 1 (IANS): At least six people were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a vehicle in Pakistan's Balochistan province Friday, media reports said.

The attack took place in Bolan district of the province, reported Xinhua.

Police and security forces launched a search operation in the nearby area.

The victims were recognised as coal miners who were heading to their work site.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
