Dubai, Nov 4: All members of Shri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi –Dubai, UAE (VKSS) community witnessed a grand Decennial celebration and Shri Vishwakarma Pooja held at Emirates English Speaking School, near Safa Park in Dubai on October 25 with cultural programs. 

The pooja prathama rituals started at 9 am and went well organized way with sankalpa, Guru, Ganapathi Pooja followed with lighting the Mandala Jyothi by chief guest Dr Jnanananada, VKSS core committee and excecutive committee members to mark the start of pooja.

The mantapa and the stage were beautifully decorated in such way that it brought the image of Bhuvana Vishwakarma Shrusti. Shri Vishwakarma was installed in the mantapa with colourful sugandha flowers.  Shri Vishwakarma Stotra was chanted by VKSS kids & Shri Kalika Stotra by VKSS ladies wing prior to Bhajan program.  Bhajan seva was beautifully and devotionally rendered by the VKSS committee members with guidance of Shantahramachar & BM Dineshachar; Yashwanth MG accompanied on harmaonium & Rajesh Kuttar on Tabla and soulful bhajans gave divine touch to the pooja. Kalasha Prathisthe ,  Shri Vishwakarma Kalpokta pooja, Shri Vishwakarma Katha parayana, followed with Katha Shravana were rendered as per vedic rituals; pooja concluded with  Mahamagalarathi held at 12:30pm followed with distribution of  prasadam  and mahaprasadam.

Complete Pooja rituals were meticulously performed by well known Purohit Puranadra Acharya from Moodbidre Gurumatha, and Purohit Shri Vadiraj Acharya from Belman both flown in specially for this pooja.  Couple Deviprasad sat on the the pooja pedestal on behalf of community. It is the first time in UAE Shri Vishwakarma Katha Parayana and Katha shravana was recited by the ably, highly experienced and rich voiced purohit Purandara Acharya. 

Mahaprasadam was served which was sponsored by group of donors as part of Annadana seva. More than 700 devotees’ gathering witnessed Pooja Mahotsava from the community all over UAE, and also community leaders and members of various other community organizations were present to seek the blessings of the Supreme Lord.

Stage program was started at 2:30pm with prayer sung by VKSS Ladies Dubai wing –Preeti Prashanth, Vandana Arun, Asha Sandesh, Preetham Prasanna, Ashwini Umesh, and program was inaugurated by lighting Jyothi by the delegates, guests on the dais, latter all the delegates, guests and audience were warmly welcomed for the program by Prashanth Acharya- President.

 The program was presided by Dr Jnanananda- President of Karnataka State Shilpakala Academy, Bangalore & he is one of the finest Scholars and well known writers in Indian literatures. On dais were Shantharamachar- Founder President, Prashanth Acharya- President, Chief Guest Dr Jnanananda, Shri Upendra Kundove-General Secretary, Smt Pratibha Shodhan- Vice President, Harisha Achar- Treasurer, Nityananda Acharya-Entertainment Secretary.

 As part of VKSS community recognition, guests  Purohit Purandara Acharya ,  Taranath Achar –a well known Mimicry artist and  Purohit Shri Yashwanth MG-Famous Golden voice singer and  special guest  Purohit Vadiraj Acharya –VKSS founder,  well known Astrologer and Vastu specialist were felicitated  with shawl, flower, fruits and Smaranike by the VKSS committee and members. 

Dr Jnananada was felicitated by the VKSS committee members with Shawl, flower, fruits and Sanmana patra. Dr Jnanananda in his guest speech he explained about great opportunities in Shilpakala and importance of promotion of the same for betterment of one and all.  Purohit Vadiraj Acharya advised all community members to get united and to follow the Vishwakarma tatva. The stage program was adjourned with VKSS report read by Upendra Kundove. The program was managed and well presented by Sathish Muloor.

Cultural Program began with welcome dance by Pranamya from Abudhabi and was well appreciated for the best performance. 

Kids troop with Prajwal, Sindhoor, Aadhya, Shringar, Yashas from Dubai performed a filmy song which was applauded by audience. Abudhabi kids group-Varun, vasisth, Hrithik, Sherya G, Shraddha, Shreya J showed their talent by dance for filmy remix song.

“Mansa Satatam” a Sanskrit anthem was rendered by Sharjah Ladies group- Shubha Prashanth, Shakunthala Prashanth, PrathibaShodhan, Vani Upendra, Gayathri Dinesh, Pavithra Gururaj, Jyothi Satish.  It was the time for audience to enjoy the song by Yashwanth MG in his golden voice for Kannada Sandal wood song. Shri Taranath Achar did fabulous performance through his mimicry creating waves in crowd. Performance of both Yashwanth and Taranath were promising. 

In between, special felicitation of Founder committee members was conducted by Shantharam Achar –Founder President in very soulful manner for  their great initiative, dedication, contribution and selfless service  towards forming VKSS  as community organization; the members  were honored with Shawl, Flower and Smaranike.

The founder members are Vadiraj Acharya, Ananth Acharya, Vignesha Acharya, Aruna Acharya, Umesha  Acharya, Prashantha  Acharya, Bhaskara  Acharya, Amrith Acharya, Prameshwara Acharya, Hareesha Acharya, Jagadeesha Acharya & Mangala Achar. 

Also, special felicitation and farewell was organised to Vasundara Acharya and family for their dedicated service to the community through VKSS for more than 8-years was fondly remembered and honored with shawl, flower, Smaranike and Sanmana patra while farewell.  Also,” The most promising singer” award was felicitated to Akshatha Rao who created her own niche as playback singer and she is the proud raising singer of our community in UAE.  Couple Ganesh Acharya were honored as special guest couple who graced the occasion from India.

All main sponsors like Jnananidhi, Panchama Snehitharu, Ajay- Choice Kitchen, Parmaeshwara Achar & Brothers, Umesha Acharya were also honored with plaque of appreciation. Sadashiva Acharya –Muscat also honored with memento of appreciation for his creative work towards fantastic stage decoration.

 All media representatives were honored for their great support After the brief break for felicitation, Yashwanth MG had took the audience by rendering few Kannada and Hindi songs so  melodiously, Taranathachar performed well on Hindi film actors’ voices in second slot too.  Abu Dhabi young talents were the  flexible dance power house who played wonderfully for Hindi remix song. 

Duet Sandal wood song was sung by Kiran Rao and Akshatha Rao which was so romantic and well appreciated by the audience.

Sharjah kids-Siya, Sumukha, Shringar, Aditya, Skandha played the skit narrated for the folk song was amazing and stunning, “Mayadantha Male Banthanna” was the last & the best performance by the Sharjah Ladies team by Pavithra Gururaj,Shakunthala Prashanth, Gayathri Dinesh, Kum Saijal Sathish; both  skit and folk dances were directed by Shubha Prashanth.  Cultual program MC was wonderfully performed by Swathi Vivek Acharya, and whole cultural program was well directed by Nityananda Acharya, Preethi Prashanth, Vani Upendra,  Dheeraj Kumar from Entertainment committee.

The program concluded by delivering vote of thanks on behalf of VKSS by Upendra Kundove –general secretary followed by Raffle draw conducted by Shantharam Achar, Prashanth Acharya, Harish Acharya, and Prathibha Shodhan and grand prizes were distributed on spot for the winners.

The whole program was systematically conceptualized by an ably enthusiastic leadership of Prashanth Acharya –Pesident and VKSS committee members under great support and guidance by the core committee members and community members.
