India to play international friendlies in Siliguri


New Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS): The Indian national football team's two international friendlies against the Philippines and Nepal will be played at Siliguri later this month.

India first play Pthe hilippines Nov 15 and then Nepal Nov 19 at the Kanchenjunga Stadium, said an All India Football Federation (AIFF) statement Tuesday.

The 21-member Indian squad will assemble in Goa Nov 7 to train at the Sesa Goa Football Academy ground till Nov 11 and will reach Siliguri Nov 12.
