Wizards coach fined $20,000 for profanity

Washington, Nov 5 (IANS): Washington Wizards head coach Randy Wittman has been fined $20,000 for talking dirty in public.

Wittman seemed upset after losing to the Philadelphia 76ers last Friday. He criticised the team's defensive effort and swore while discussing the game at the post-game news conference and was Monday fined for his profanity, reports Xinhua.

"You've got to respect the game, your opponent... Everything you get is 'No, we're OK'. We're not OK. We're 0-2. We're not OK," said Wittman.

The Wizards had a winless 0-3 record for the opening week of 2013-2014 NBA season.
